wonderful stay!
helpful staff kind people comfortable stay
i found the staff to be very pleasant! they really were really nice too assist me and ensure i was comfortable. the hotel staff even met me upon arrival. they took my luggage and guided me to the hotel. i had a wonderful time because of the kind people at this place!

the location is excellent. it is a short walk to the water buses and taxis. saint mark's square is also nearby at only a ten minute walk, though many restaurants are even closer.

the beautiful double room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. the bed offered excellent support and i slept very well. i found the room design both elegant and functional!

romantic escape
hotel beauty large bathroom
the closeness to the ferry was a blessing. the hotel exudes beauty, we enjoyed our room. the bathroom was quite large and the bed provided comfort. i ate at the restaurant and had a glass of chianti, watching gondolas glide by.
the broken heated towel rail made my room uncomfortably hot. i had to open windows for cool air, this let mosquitoes inside the space. the cleaners saw this issue during regular cleaning but it wasn't fixed.

solid stay near san marco
large bathroom comfortable bed excellent service
the hotel is near the ferry, an easy arrival with suitcases, the hotel also provided excellent service. the room featured a large bathroom with complimentary products and a very comfortable bed. we ate at the restaurant and enjoyed chianti out front watching the gondolas float by.
the heated towel rail in our room was broken. we had to open windows, this let mosquitos in. cleaners would have seen this as they were cleaning but it was not fixed

Acceptable stay. Some issues noted.
controlled air conditioning dated fixture
The air conditioning was centrally controlled. I found this frustrating. It meant I could not adjust the temperature in my room to my liking, ESPECIALLY at night. This led to some discomfort. some areas seemed a little dated and could use updating. I noticed wear and tear in the bathroom fixture.

convenient location helpful staff
The location was convenient with a short walk to the water buses (vaporetti) and St Mark's Square. Staff stored my luggage on my late flight day (which I appreciated).
The air conditioning could only be adjusted from the reception, it changed randomly.

small room ineffective air conditioning
The room was quite small, much smaller than i had expected from the photos. also, the air conditioning wasn't very effective. i reported it, but nothing changed . the breakfast felt overpriced for what was offered. It was a continental spread, but not really good.
